Ludo Hero

Ludo is a classic board game. It already existed in the 19th century and is still popular today. Ludo strongly resembles a game called parcheesi (or pachisi), from which it was derived. Pachisi was invented in India, but variants are now played all over the world. This includes ‘Ludo’ and ‘Uckers’ in the UK, ‘Mens Erger Je Niet’ in the Netherlands, and ‘Jeu des Petits Chevaux’ in France.

In the board game Ludo Hero, you must move your pieces around the board to reach your color-coded end zone more quickly than your opponents. The game can be played with 2, 3, or 4  players. You can choose to play this online version with friends using the same device, or challenge an AI opponent. Play Ludo online with this free version of the classic game.

How to play Ludo Hero?

Your goal is to move all four pawns to the triangle marked in your color. To do this, they will need to travel around the whole board once, and end up jumping exactly to the last field. The numbers 1-5 on the dice will allow you to move as many places on the board. When you roll 6, however, you can move ahead 6 spots, or choose to introduce a new game piece to the first square on the board.

There are several marked spaces where pawns are safe, but if two pawns end up occupying any unmarked circle, the first pawn will be struck from the board and must return to the starting position. The player must throw 6 again to reintroduce it to the game.

Click the dice to roll it, and click on the pieces to select the one you want to move.
