How to play Sara’s Cooking Class: Sugar Cookies?

Follow the instructions as show in the panel at the top of the screen. For the bottles of vanilla and almond, you’ll have to tap the lid first to open them.

First, Sara will teach you how to make the cookie dough. Mix the butter, cream cheese, and sugar in the bowl. Then, add the egg, vanilla extract and almond extract. Lastly, mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Knead the dough, then cover it and put it in the fridge.

When the dough is cold and easy to handle, dust a surface with some flour and roll out the dough. The flour keeps the dough from sticking to the surface. You can use cookie cutters to press shapes into the dough.

Place your cookies on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven at 190 degrees Celsius (375 F) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies start to turn brown. Let them cool down for two minutes and then move them to a wire rack to cool down completely.

Now, let's make the glaze. Mix the confectioner’s sugar and the cream in the bowl with a tiny pinch of salt. Add food coloring in cheerful Easter colors, and your glaze is ready. You can then decorate each cookie using the glaze, icing, and sprinkles. (You really do have to wait until the cookies have cooled down though, or your sugar glaze and the icing will melt!)

Put them all on a big plate or in a pretty Easter basket, and your delicious Easter treats are ready to serve!
