How to play Vex 10?

Hit the play button to enter the level map. This interactive Level Hub itself functions as a level and quick tutorial. To enter the different levels (called Acts in the Vex series), you’ll have to find them in this obstacle-packed overworld first!

When you find a cube marked ‘Act’, stand on it and press S or the down arrow to enter the level. The aim is to make your way to the green portal that marks the end of the level and takes you back to the Level Hub. 

Along the way, touch the red flags to turn them green. The last flag you activated is the place you will return to if you fall prey to one of the many deadly traps. You can resume your journey to the finish from there. (No matter how many tried it takes!)

New Features

This game introduces several new features and mechanics:

• Create clones - Create a clone using a special portal. You can now control this clone. Work together to clear obstacles that are impossible to overcome on your own! Be sure to return to the portal and your original body: if your clone dies, its work will be undone!
• Freeze Time - Activate this item to safely get past the most mind-boggling obstacles. Time - and any moving obstacles - will stand still, so you’ll have to pick just the right moment to trigger this mechanism!
• Reverse Gravity - A twin set of special platforms flips gravity when you step onto them. Can you still weave between gauntlets of challenging obstacles while dealing with the disorienting effect of everything being upside down? 

Hardcore Mode 

In Vex 10, you don’t need to complete the Acts in Normal Mode with a particular achievement to unlock Hardcore mode. All you need to do it find the entrance in the Level Hub. Hardcore Levels are usually hidden away in more difficult to access areas that more heavily protected by deadly traps and obstacles.

Controls

• A/D or arrow keys = Run left / right
• W or up arrow = Jump
• S or down arrow = Crouch or slide
• Hold A/D or arrow key in the direction of a wall = Cling to wall or ledge
• Move mouse while standing still = Look around
• R = Restart level
