      Grand Mahjong

      Grand Mahjong is a mahjong solitaire puzzle game with hundreds of levels and several customization options to adjust the game to your liking. Can you clear away the tiles by finding the matching pairs?

      How to play Grand Mahjong?

      The objective is to clear away all of the tiles. You can remove the tiles by selecting the matching pairs. Tap on a tile to select it, and then tap on an identical tile to combine and remove them.

      However, not all tiles are playable at the start of the game. Tiles that are covered by other tiles will need to be uncovered first. And you can only pick up tiles that are not blocked by any other tiles on the right or left side.

      Note: The seasons and the flowers form two sets of four tiles each. You can combine these tiles with any tile from the same set.

      Boosters

      The levels are designed so that every board can be cleared as long as you play your tiles right. However, there are also several boosters to help you along in case you get stuck:

      • Lightbulb = Highlight two matchable tiles
      • Crossed arrows = Shuffle all remaining tiles
      • Back arrow = Undo last move

      Switch Tile Sets

      This game features two tile sets, the classic Mahjong tiles and a simplified set (which is the default in this game). To switch between the tile sets, tap the menu button in the lower right corner of the main screen. Select “Theme” and then choose the tile set you prefer.

      Highlight Playable Tiles

      In the menu screen, you can also select the option to highlight all playable tiles. Tap the slider to activate or deactivate this customization option. When active, all non-playable tiles will be shaded a bit darker to make the playable ones stand out.
